Scooters is a part of a family of restaurants on the strip, owned by the same team as Stubbys, Island Coffee, and Walters Deli. While Scooters is now going on to celebrate its 2nd anniversary, our shared restaurants have been running for over 20 years on the island. Our love for the island's locals and visitors is what drives our small, family-run business.
"Why the name Scooters?"
After a long time of deliberating names that could be fitting for our new restaurant, we finally reached the perfect one that reflected the face behind the operation. Scott Kopp, also known as 'Scooter,' has been the friendly, familiar face running our family's restaurants for the last 20 years. His dedication and devotion are what keep our business strong and connected like family.
Our commitment to Nantucket
Located right down the street from Nantucket's Steamship Ferry Terminal, our tiny restaurant space sits on one of the busiest streets in town, known as "the strip". We knew our island was missing something, and we wanted to provide it: a healthy, yet fast takeout option. We are open year-round to serve our loyal regulars and our islands visitors. We love our tight-knit community here on Nantucket!
